I’ve added a FAQ page to Blogs of War to address a few questions about AI and anything else that might come up.

✏️ The latest in a series of ongoing experiments with using AI-assisted short fiction for scenario planning and forecasting purposes is up on the blog. This is the first to use GPT-4. You can see all of them here.

I just published a collection of videos aimed at new Mastodon users (Five Videos (And a Lot of Resources) to Get You Started with Mastodon) and made minor edits in earlier posts to link the series on the Twitter Migration and Mastodon together. I also created a Mastodon category although I’m not sure how much more I’ll write about this. We’ll see.

I have added a big roundup of Mastodon and Fediverse stuff to the Recommended Resources page. More to come in a post tommorow!

I’m no longer cross-posting any content to Twitter. I’m done with the bird. I knew that day was coming but it came faster than anticipated. I have updated an earlier post about my social media strategy to reflect the current state. I also published a post on my early thoughts about Mastodon and the Twitter migration.

That pace will difficult to maintain, well I’m not even going to try, given that I will be tied up with duties related to the Brazilian elections and US midterms over the next three weeks. I don’t expect to go completely silent but that will depend on how things go in a couple of extremely volatile places.

The resources page has been updated with new sections for Russia-Ukraine War OSINT Tools and Russia-Ukraine War News/Analysis. I’ve added a few links to other sections as well.

I’ve updated the Help Ukraine page with a number of new resources.
